The Romantic

people often say they saw Him

Pass their way …they saw Him

The feet of Him…walking

gathering petals… they saw Him

One summer day

I saw Him

Walking…I saw Him

I called out His name

I saw Him

--- then He faded away --- I miss Him

One fallen harvest…she saw Him

Gathering the grapes…she saw Him

 --- taken away…she saw Him

Why when I saw Him He faded away?

---I did not pursue Him

I went away

People often say… they saw Him

Pass their way… they saw Him

I touched His feet

and followed Him

He healed my heart

I know Him

Untitled

I want to tell this story from the end to the beginning, because it might be more fitting for this setting

I was working late last night and this vision carried me to a place that was full of light but no sound to shelter me.

I need that noise in my life to quiet the pain in thee…

I could see all that was in front of me but no sound was allowed out of thee because the sign read:

“Quiet Please”

Who gave them the right to tell thee

that there is no sound in this light that surrounds me?

They did not hang from the juniper trees as ornaments on spring’s eve

Or march in the streets to be told:

“Quiet Please”

He was not pierced in His side…

to reconcile thee…

to be forgotten…BLASPHEMY

I want to stay free

free from the pain

that tortures me

keeps me up

like last night

reminding me…

They bled

They ran

They marched

We bleed

We run

We march

So…as the sign halos me…

It toils in my thoughts---reading:

“Quiet Please”

“Quiet Please”

I cannot

So I speak

the light is sucked from thee

I look up

Sound grabs me

My eyes are opened

Sound speaks:

“Welcome to the beginning you are almost free”

The skies are purple today…

kissed by You

Swimming in streams of golden horizons

I can smell You

In the air above

the sun is sprinkled

by Your love

I melt at the voice of You

Joys of everlasting Love consume me

The skies were purple today…

and I thought of You

I love You more than life

I love You

Gently…

… I drift

…into moments

… of You…

The simplicity of loving You

Everything seems meaningless without You
